Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Boston Fixer LLC (“Boston Fixer,” “Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, booking services, and in-home appliance repair services (collectively, the “Services”). By scheduling or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.

1. Services Provided

Boston Fixer provides professional home appliance repair and related services. All appointments must be booked through our website, phone, or authorized partners.

2. Service Call Fee

A service call/diagnostic fee starting at $89 is required to schedule an appointment. This fee covers technician travel and diagnostic assessment. It is non-refundable. If you approve a repair during the same visit, this fee will be applied toward the total cost of repair.

3. Pricing & Payment

  • Final repair costs depend on the appliance, parts, and labor required.

  • A minimum repair charge of $200 applies once work begins.

  • Payment is due immediately upon completion of services. We accept credit cards and other approved payment methods.

  • By providing payment details, you authorize Boston Fixer (and its payment processors) to charge your account for agreed services.

4. Service Guarantee

Boston Fixer offers a 90-day Service Guarantee (up to $750 maximum coverage) on eligible appliance repairs.
The guarantee covers only the original work performed and parts supplied by Boston Fixer. It does not cover:

  • Failures unrelated to the original repair

  • Parts provided by the customer

  • Damage from misuse, mishandling, infestation, or environmental exposure

  • Cosmetic damage or incidental losses (e.g., spoiled food due to appliance failure)

5. Customer Responsibilities

To ensure proper service, you agree to:

  • Provide safe and reasonable access to the appliance.

  • Follow technician recommendations for proper maintenance.

  • Not attempt DIY or third-party repairs on the serviced appliance, as this voids the guarantee.

6. Limitation of Liability

Boston Fixer’s liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service provided or $750, whichever is less. We are not responsible for incidental or consequential damages, including property damage, loss of income, or food spoilage.

7. Cancellations & Rescheduling

You may cancel or reschedule an appointment up to 24 hours in advance. Same-day cancellations may result in forfeiture of the service call fee.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on our website (text, images, logos, etc.) is the property of Boston Fixer LLC and may not be copied or reused without written permission.

9. Privacy

Use of our Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use your information.

10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Massachusetts. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Suffolk County, Massachusetts, unless prohibited by law.

11. Changes to Terms

Boston Fixer may update these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on our website with a revised “Last Updated” date. Continued use of our Services after changes means you accept the new Terms.
